DJ Dazzle

DJ Dazzle (born Martijn Wittenbols on 25 January 1977) is a Dutch electronic dance music DJ, producer and remixer. In general he is associated with trance, but he also plays both progressive, tech house and dance, as well as vocal trance. He's known for having released several mix compilations and remixes on Tiësto's Black Hole Recordings, and for productions like "Continuous" (with Octagen), "Chaos Theory" and "Relativity". He also runs his own record label called Mostly Recordings.〔() Mostly Recordings' Audiojelly page〕
When he was fifteen years old, Dazzle visited De Spock, a local club in his hometown Breda. There he heard DJ Tiësto play for the first time, and was hooked on dance music. This inspired him to get his own turntables and mixer, and soon he started playing at student parties with his own DJ gear.〔() Dazzle's Discogs profile〕
In 1998 - two years after he had become a resident DJ at De Spock himself - Dazzle joined Black Hole Recordings with his first mix compilation, ''Freedom'' (released on Songbird, a sublabel of Black Hole). On Black Hole, Dazzle released a total of four mix compilations in the ''Freedom'' series, as well as ''Maxim Editions V1'' and ''Soundbox''.〔() Dazzle's Audiojelly profile〕 In 2005 he founded Mostly Recordings, and the first release on this label was his 2CD mix compilation named ''Forward''.
Dazzle is also a producer and remixer, and he has worked together with artists like Sied van Riel, Octagen, Re-Ward, Daniel Wanrooy and Cor Fijneman. In 2008 he released the track called "Chaos Theory", which was supported by and played several times by top trance artists like Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren and Ferry Corsten.〔() "Chaos Theory" at Trackitdown〕 The same year he released "Backwards", which was supported by artists like Sander van Doorn and Mark Sherry.〔() "Backwards" at Trackitdown〕 Dazzle's first release of 2009 was "Relativity", which was signed to Vandit Digital, Paul van Dyk's label.
Dazzle has played at several major events such as Trance Energy, Dance Valley, Dancetour, Gigadance, Extrema Outdoor, Rockit Open Air, Frequence Outdoor and Impulz. As of August 2009 he has played solo five times on his own truck at the FFWD Dance Parade in Rotterdam, and in 2006 and 2007 he also mixed the official album for the parade. He has played in countries all over the world, including Israel, Norway, Russia, Spain, Poland, Mexico, Greece and the US.
